Can't install Apex AVC-R in a Drag 3 turbo integ

I have a 96 integra with Drag 3 turbo. A local shop install the turbo for me. I also have a new Apex AVC-R boost control. but in the installation manual, it never talk anything about Honda's car co's Honda doesn't come with turbo. Tha shop said they won't be able to install AVC for me, they don't know how to install. They said I should get a HKS boost controller, that will work for my car. Does anyone know anything about this, please help!! thanks!!

i had one in my car and it worked great.it has been so long,i don't remember the specifics,but i had it in in less than a hour.

so the shop that put your turbo on can not help you get your turbo timer on..........sounds like you need to find a new shop for your turbo work........if you are anywhere around b'ham al.........try a place called turbo specialties in pelham to see if he might be able to help.........his name is reed

It's not the turbo timer, it's Apex's new boost comtroller, AVC-R. That one has a silver body and big blue screen, same as AFC.

Has any one installed this in turbo hondas??

the manual only details applications for cars in japan whihc came stock with turbos.
Since you have an adapted turbo setup you follow directions for an external wastegate setup, i.e. top of your deltagate hose connects to solenoid CON and NC tee's between vacuum hose which goes to side of wastegate.
